Richard Harris, honorary trustee with local charity Citizens Advice Newcastle, awarded MBE in New Year’s Honours list

Richard Harris, a consultant for Johnson Tucker has recently been awarded an MBE in the New Year’s Honours list in connection with his work with local charity Citizens Advice Newcastle, for over two decades.

Richard joined the Trustee board in 1995. He dedicated a huge amount of his free time to driving forward vital improvements to the charity’s services; tackling poverty and injustice; issues at the forefront of the charity’s aims.

The MBE award has been made in recognition of his 22 years of service as a trustee, including 10 years as Chairman.

Richard joined Johnson Tucker as a consultant in 2014, he was formerly of Swaisland Harris Associates,which was a practice dealing principally with compulsory purchase and property management, as well as valuation. Richard has over 40 years of commercial experience in the North East.
