This wide-ranging property sector knowledge has seen him acting as an expert witness in property disputes, third party and negligence proceedings and he also possesses  specialist knowledge of the further education sector providing valuation advice and assisting in the preparation of accommodation strategies.

Malcolm is an experienced commercial valuer who since qualifying in 2003 has worked for some major national and international firms and joined Johnson Tucker LLP in June 2015. He is an RICS Registered Valuer and having practiced in the region for the majority of his career, he has thorough knowledge of the North East property market as well as the wider investment market. Malcolm carries out lease renewals and rent reviews for both landlords and tenants and also advises clients on leasehold enfranchisement cases.
