Established in 2006, Johnson Tucker is a highly regarded firm of chartered surveyors and commercial property agents based in Newcastle upon Tyne. We have a strong co-ordinated team of experts, working together to offer a wide range of property services;

He is an experienced landlord and tenant surveyor supervising almost all rent reviews and lease negotiations for his management clients. He is also a qualified risk assessor.

Janet is well established property manager in the north east. Janet has worked for both national and regional Chartered Surveying firms and adds her wealth of experience to the Johnson Tucker Property Management team.
Within an expanding property management department, Janet’s experience is essential; managing shopping centres, multi let properties and residential blocks. As well as looking after the landlords interests Janet has developed a good working relationship with tenants, contractors and other property professionals.

Kristian Sorensen MRICS

Originally from Newcastle, Kristian initially studied History and Politics at Loughborough University before returning home to complete his Master’s Degree in Real Estate, graduating from Northumbria University in October 2015.
Following his graduation, Kristian immediately took up a position in a well-established North East chartered surveying firm working primarily in the agency department, across all commercial property sectors throughout Newcastle, Northumberland and County Durham.
In September 2017, Kristian joined Johnson Tucker LLP, where alongside agency work he assisted the commercial valuation, property management and investment functions of the business in order to gain experience in a number of commercial surveying disciplines. Such experience was essential as Kristian passed his Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) and qualified as a Chartered Surveyor and RICS Registered Valuer in May 2018.
Kristian now specialises in commercial agency, both occupational and investment, acting for property owners as well as tenants and purchasers throughout the North East.
Kristian is an active member of the RICS Matrics, the young professionals’ arm of the RICS, regularly attending their professional networking and social events as well as seminars and conferences to aid his continued professional development.

Amanda Reid

Amanda is very experienced secretary and office administrator having worked for 18 years as PA to the Senior Partner of a major firm of Chartered Accountants before a further 13 years as secretary to the management team at a national Fire & Security Firm. Amanda now works as secretary at Johnson Tucker, where she is a valued member of a growing team.

2019
Chris Morren joins Johnson Tucker’s expanding property management department and brings with him a wealth of experience in residential block and property management.
2018
We now have grown to a team of 10 RICS qualified surveyors – each with their own skill set. Our core business areas are Property Management, Investment Brokerage, Commercial and Residential Valuations, Landlord & Tenant and Commercial Agency.
Kristian Sorensen qualified as a Chartered Surveyor gaining MRICS status in May 2018.
2017
Gary Robinson and Daniel Capobasso were promoted; Gary, who leads the property management function was promoted to Partner and Daniel, who specialises in the sale and acquisition of investment opportunities was also promoted to Partner.
We were joined by two graduate surveyors; Kristian Sorensen and Matthew Ternent. Matthew is an accredited domestic and commercial EPC assessor.
2016
In October 2016 we were joined by experienced property manager Janet Young to assist with our growing property management portfolio.
We also celebrated our 10 year anniversary.
2015
In 2015 we were joined by Malcolm Angus, expanding our valuation team to manage the increased volume of commercial & residential valuation work.
2014
In 2014 we took over the workload of Swaisland Harris Associates and were joined by former partner; Richard Harris as Consultant. We continue to work closely with Richard.
Daniel Capobasso replaced Dougie Cranston as head of investment agency to continue our bespoke investment agency brokerage service. Daniel continues to purchase off-market investment opportunities for our clients.
2013
In 2013 we set up our own in-house property maintenance team. This has enabled us to provide a fast and pro-active service to our retained management clients.
2010
We moved to new riverside offices above The Boathouse Public House, Newburn on the western fringe of Newcastle upon Tyne city centre in May 2010 – Download Map
2007
We recruited expert residential valuer Nick Lansberry, which expanded our offer to include advice on residential property as well as commercial.
2006
Johnson Tucker was established in September 2006 by David Johnson and Andrew Tucker who together with Gary Robinson and Lisa Nellist had formed the core team of the Newcastle office of Gerald Eve.
